What is the minimum order?
Our minimum order is just 12 frames — a small hang or one office corridor — with bulk tiers as a room schedule grows into a programme.
How fast will my picture frames arrive?
Your free mockup lands within 24 hours and frames ship in about 2 weeks. Made-to-measure sizes and deep rebates are cut to order rather than pulled from stock, so you get a real date before you commit.
Do you print the artwork as well?
No. We make the frame, cut the mount and fit the glazing; the print is yours or your printer’s. We would rather be plainly good at one of those than vague about both.
What actually is mat burn?
A brown line printed into the edge of the artwork by acidic mount board over a few years. It is permanent. Alkaline-buffered lignin-free board prevents it entirely and costs a fraction of what the moulding does.
Sight size, artwork size, outside size — what is the difference?
Artwork size is the sheet itself. Sight size is what the mount leaves visible, usually about five millimetres in from each edge. Outside size is what the wall has to take. We state all three, because treating them as one is what makes reorders wrong.
What is the rebate and why do you keep asking about depth?
It is the lip inside the back of the moulding, and everything has to fit in it: glazing, mount, artwork and backing. If that stack is deeper than the rebate the backing sits proud and forcing it bows the frame. So we quote the depth in millimetres.
Should I choose glass or acrylic?
Glass for anything at desk or eye level where it may be handled, because it does not scratch. Acrylic for large formats, above head height, in bedrooms and anywhere public — half the weight, no shards, and it survives shipping.
Can you match frames we ordered years ago?
If the profile is held against your account, yes, and that is what a programme is for. If it was ordered elsewhere, send us one and we will tell you honestly whether it can be matched or only approached.
